Quick update on the DAM replacement 🌊
WPOA is currently exploring the option of applying to the County to fund the Dam through an Ad Valorem tax. Nothing’s locked in — it’s just being looked at as a potential path forward.
We’ll be diving into the details at the Annual Meeting on April 6th, so mark your calendar. When you receive your meeting packet ahead of time, you’ll find all the relevant information included there.

Towing is being enforced. Yes, like actually enforced this year. And that surprise could run you up to $500 — which is a lot less fun than fish tacos and a sunset.
So let’s keep it easy:
- Post your vehicle pass anytime you’re parking in a common area.
- Have your member pass on you when you’re enjoying those common areas.
- And make sure your guests are fully beach-legal with both guest passes and vehicle passes.
We love a relaxed coastal mood… but the tow truck does not. Let’s save everyone the drama and keep the good vibes rolling. 🌊

Hopefully you’ve noticed the difference our Maintenance, Office, and Beach staff have made this year. We’re proud to be fully staffed and actively working to make our community cleaner, smoother, and stronger.

Board volunteers are dedicating additional time to collections efforts, and we are contacting residents via certified letter. We’re also working alongside county officials and our legal team to ensure everyone is contributing fairly.

To keep our community flowing smoothly (and our waterfront vibes stress-free!), all Property Owners are required to maintain their rain overflow ditches.
Clear ditches help prevent flooding, protect neighboring properties, and keep everything looking neat and cared for — especially during those big summer storms and winter slushes. ⛈️🌿

🚫 No Yard Debris in the Lake
Leaves, grass, branches — none of it belongs in the water. Help keep our lake clean, healthy, and sparkling for everyone to enjoy!
🚗 Parking Guidelines
Per our rules & regulations, all vehicles should be parked at least 5 feet from the pavement, if possible.
At a minimum, all tires must be completely off the pavement.
This helps keep our roads clear, safe, and easy to navigate.
🛺 Golf Cart Safety
Cruising is fun — but safety comes first!
- Drivers must have a valid driver’s license
- All posted signs and speed limits must be obeyed

This year brought meaningful improvements that continue to enhance the beauty, safety, and enjoyment of our community. Each completed project reflects the care, planning, and dedication poured into keeping our neighborhood thriving.

Here’s a look at what was accomplished for our community:
- 🌿 Opened Sylvia’s Vineyard common area
- 🛠️ Refurbished and resurfaced T Dock
- 🏊 Installed a brand-new swim platform
- 🔄 Replaced the smaller swim platform
- 🌾 Removed overgrowth along the shoreline at the Office & Beach
- 🎨 Repaired and repainted Pavilion picnic benches
- 🧼 Cleaned and reorganized the Pavilion kitchen and back room
From shoreline sprucing to dock upgrades and fresh community spaces, these improvements helped keep our waterfront beautiful, welcoming, and ready for memory-making. 🌅Thank you to everyone who supported these efforts — your involvement and commitment help keep our lakeside paradise moving forward! 🌅

To enjoy all Community areas and amenities, valid passes are required.
🗓️ Passes are valid March 31 – March 31 each year.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Present your Membership Card
- Display your Vehicle Identification Card in your windshield
- Guests must have a One-Day Pass and a Guest Vehicle Identification Card
🎟️ Passes for all paid members can be obtained at the office.
Please note: This requirement applies to all Community areas and is being actively monitored and enforced.
